Small Donation Programs for Public Participation in Environmental Participation CAFTA-Dr/Pathways Environmental Cooperation.

The US State Department and Helvetas Guatemala present this program, which invites project proposals that promote public participation in environmental protection in Central America and the Dominican Republic through the implementation of educational activities and training in environmental regulations and procedures to a large section of civil society. Additionally, to foster the interaction between local governments and civil society for decision making on priority environmental issues.

Donation Fund: Accepted projects will have a maximum of $50,000,00. All of the project need to implemented in a maximum time of 12 months.

Candidates: Non governmental agencies and other members of civil society (consult the fund regulations) that are legal entities in Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala. Honduras or Nicaragua. Women, young people, and indigenous groups are strongly encouraged to apply.

Proposals: The guidelines and procedures for the application can be consulted in the Rules of the Fund, which is available along with the Presentation of Technical and Financial Proposals in Helvetas, Guatemala..

The deadline for the proposal submissions is Friday, November 29 at 5 pm in the Helvetas Guatemala offices.

Fund Presentation and its procedure: day/month/year at TIME in PLACE (address, street, number, city, country.) Confirm participation to Cafta-dr@helvetas.org

Maximum 2 people per institution.
