The Assistant Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), Albert Ramdin, received an award during the Caribbean Renewal Energy Forum (CREF), for his outstanding contribution to the initiative.
Ambassador Ramdin participated in the opening of the event, together with the Prime Minister of Aruba, Mike Eman; and CREF Chair Jerry Butler, and other senior government officials from the Caribbean region.
The event, which takes place until Friday, October 11, brings together 425 delegates from 42 countries to debate and explore the obstacles to and opportunities for renewable energy development across the Caribbean.
