CONDESAN presents new publication: Andean Amazon Regional Dialogue on Water

Andean Series # 6 Proposal: Andean Amazon Regional Dialogue on Water 2012 aims to share the framework for discussion, the main results per session, the decisions taken and the conclusions and recommendations of the event, which was attended by government officials and specialists Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru to discuss and share experiences on the use of economic incentives related to ecosystem conservation relevant to the provision of water and the hydrologic cycle regulation in the Andean Amazon.

The “Andean Amazon Regional Dialogue on Water” was organized by the Initiative for Conservation in the Andean Amazon (ICAA) of the U.S. Agency for International Development – USAID and was supported by the Peruvian Ministry of Environment and the Regional Government of Loreto, Peru. The Consortium for Sustainable Development of the Andean Ecoregion (CONDESAN) led the methodological development and facilitation of the event, as well as the compilation and analysis of the information provided in this space.
