V Latin American and Caribbean Energy Efficiency Seminar – OLADE

The Latin American Energy Organization (OLADE), jointly with the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy of Ecuador (MEER) and the United Nations Environment Programme, Regional Office for Latin America & the Caribbean (UNEP-ROLAC), will carry out the V Latin American and Caribbean Energy Efficiency Seminar; an event that will be held in Quito, Ecuador, on May 8 and 9, 2013.

The overall objective of this fifth edition of the Seminar is to present experiences and best practices on regional and global energy efficiency management, sustainability, institutional framework and running programs focused on measurement, planning, management, monitoring and evaluation of results.

The event is aimed at officials of ministries and departments of energy, environment, industry and commerce, as well as specialists from international organizations, private companies, public entities, private sector representatives, investors, project developers, representatives of organizations that have technology and equipment and delegates from research institutes and universities.

It was confirmed the attendance of high representatives and officials of the governments of the 27 Member States of OLADE, international organizations and internationally renowned experts.
