The Caribbean Renewable Energy Forum – CREF 2011
CREF 2010 gathered 307 participants from 37 countries for two days of intense discussion, debate, and highly productive networking. An unprecedented 11 Government Ministers from across the region joined us last year, reflecting the significance both of the Forum, and the underlying issues, for the Caribbean.
As we look forward to CREF 2011, the incentive to diversify the region’s energy matrix has never been stronger. The price of oil continues to head northwards and, marching in tandem, the Caribbean’s electricity bill is high and trending higher.
As always CREF will focus on solutions. Solutions that arise over the course of intensive, interactive, and often controversial, panel discussions. Solutions that arise when a conference gathers under one roof the best in renewable developers and technology, public and private sources of capital, and decision-makers from governments and utilities. CREF 2011 couldn’t come at a more opportune time. We invite you to participate.
