Sustainable Energy Capacity Building Initiative Request for Quotation (Trinidad and Tobago)
The General Secretariat of the Organization of American States (GS/OAS) through the Sustainable Energy Capacity Building Initiative (SECBI) under the auspices of the Energy and Climate Partnership of the Americas (ECPA) announces this “Request for Quotation”. Consultants wishing to quote for a Toolkit for Developing Power Purchase Agreements for Renewable Energy Grid Integration in Trinidad and Tobago are invited to submit applications to keterovic@oas.org; cmiller@oas.org and to eparada@oas.org.
The main objectives are:
- To provide capacity building for local stakeholders in developing a supportive legislative framework for Renewable Energy
- To develop a model a Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and deliver an associated PPA training
- To provide training for the development of a monitoring and evaluation plan
SECBI addresses critical commercialization challenges related to expanding the development and use of sustainable energy alternatives as a means of injecting more affordable and less environmentally-harmful energy technologies into the energy matrices of Caribbean countries.
