II Regional Symposium on Energy Efficiency
The Peruvian Ministry of Energy and Mines (MEM) and the Organization of American States (OAS), through its Department of Sustainable Development, will host the II Regional Energy Efficiency Symposium in Lima, Peru on November 14, 2012.
The Symposium sponsored by the Energy and Climate Partnership of the Americas (ECPA) aims to identify and discuss specific activities to promote energy efficiency at national and regional level in the Americas. The event will establish a Working Plan Regional Cooperation in Energy Efficiency containing specific actions identified by representatives of governments aimed at promoting greater energy efficiency in the Americas.
The Second Regional Symposium on Energy Efficiency forms part of the 2012 Peruvian Energy Efficiency Exposition, titled “Challenges and Opportunities”, and organized by the magazine Energy and Business, with collaborative support from GIZ and the Government of Canada.
