Fourth IKMWG Meeting of the C-SERMS Platform
CARICOM Energy is developing the CARICOM Energy Knowledge Hub (CEKH) as part of the support for the regional transition to sustainable energy production, delivery and use, through better access to information and knowledge. The CARICOM Secretariat, with support from a diverse group of partners, has conducted a stakeholders’ consultation process to determine the information and knowledge needs of key actors withing the sustainable energy section in the Region.
This workshop will now consider and prioritize the outcomes from the consultations, as well as agree on the information services and knowledge products that are required to meet stakeholder needs. A secondary objective of the workshop is for understanding to be reached on what the various stakeholders are prepared to do to support the establishment of an effective, functional CEKH.
Stakeholders from Government, Ministries and Agencies, Regulatory Authorities, Utilities, Regional and International Institutions – including IFIs, Universities, Private Sector, and Civil Society are expected to be in attendance.
