ECPA Grantee Trees, Water & People (TWP), will present to the ETHOS conference on the advances of TWP’s initiative, Improving Access to Clean Energy in Latin America
For 10 years, the Engineers in Technical, Humanitarian Opportunities of Service (ETHOS) conference in Kirkland, WA has brought together the business, medical, social science and engineering communities to share best practices on the delivery of life-changing technologies to the energy-poor populations of the developing world. The 2013 conference beginning on January 25th will include presentations on next generation cookstove designs, thermo-electric generators, business models, and manufacturing approaches.
Sebastian Africano, International Director for ECPA Grantee Trees, Water & People (TWP), will present to the ETHOS conference on the advances of TWP’s initiative, Improving Access to Clean Energy in Latin America. Mr. Africano will speak on the importance of a robust distribution system to increasing the availability of technologies such as clean cookstoves and Cleantech solar lighting and phone charging systems in off-grid areas, highlighting TWP’s work with ECPA partner AHDESA in Honduras.
