Discussion Forum on Caribbean Investment in Renewable Energy
Between 2009 and 2013, foreign direct investment in the Caribbean reached $217 billion, according to World Bank estimates. Investments target a variety of Caribbean industries, including energy. At the meeting, the Ministers and high authorities in charge of energy and climate in the Caribbean will discuss strategies to summon the political and private sector will needed to seize national and foreign investment opportunities to finance energy sector infrastructure reform.
