Climate Change Expert Mathias Vuille to Visit Peru on Behalf of ECPA Senior Fellows
Mathias Vuille, a Senior Fellow in the Energy and Climate Partnership of the Americas (ECPA), will be traveling to Peru from May 31-June 1, to meet with local officials and discuss tropical glaciers and adaptation to climate change.
While in Peru, Vuille will conduct a field visit with the Climate Change Adaptation Project in Huara, to the north of Lima. he will also meet with representatives from the Mountain Institute, USAID, science faculty at Peru’s San Marcos University, and officials from the Ministry of the Environment. During his stay, Dr. Vuille will be made available for contact to local and international media upon request.
