Climate Change Expert Gerald Galloway to Visit Chile and Bolivia on Behalf of ECPA Senior Fellows
Gerald Galloway, a Senior Felow in the Energy and Climate Partnership of the Americas (ECPA), will be traveling to Chile and Bolivia on August 20th through September 1st to participate in meetings and events regarding water policy development and management. Galloway is a Professor of Engineering in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Maryland.
Galloway’s work has focused on flood risk management, water resources and the environment, natural disaster management and the steps that can be taken to mitigate the impacts of natural disasters. He has served as the Director of the White House Study on national flood policy and has co-authored a forthcoming joint WWF-China MWR book on flood risk management.
