A technical mission of the Organization of American States (OAS) and Dominicans that is working together in the development of an educational and awareness program in renewable energy and energy efficiency in Dominican Republic met this Thursday with institutions linked to the education sector to identify the contents and strategies to be developed for teaching the subject in schools of the country.

The meeting, held at the headquarters of the National Institute of Education and Training of Teachers (INAFOCAM), is part of a series of activities of the mission in order to prepare a pilot educational proposal on renewable energy and energy efficiency for Dominican Republic which can be applicable in other Caribbean and Spanish speaking Latin American countries.
