ECPA strategic partner Organization for the Development of Latin America ONWARD International and Brazil’s International Institute for Local Development (IIDEL) are organizing a “Technical Mission on Urban Management Capacity Building to Advance Municipal Development through Public-Private Partnerships.” The technical mission will take place in the city of Curitiba, Brazil, on February 24-28, 2014. This technical mission is aimed at equipping local government representatives, mayors, city council members and field experts with new urban development skills. Urban development topics related to planning, public transportation, road infrastructure, public safety and crime prevention, environmental sustainability and social inclusion will be addressed.
