Under the framework of the “Regional Energy Efficiency Program: Towards a New Regional Energy Agenda”, and the joint efforts of ALADI, ARPEL, ECLAC, CIER, OEA, OLADE and WEC, and the support of CAF, the need to together develop a new Regional energy Efficiency Program was addressed. The main objective of this initiative is to promote the market development of energy efficiency projects in Latin America. The launch of this initiative will be held on September 12, 2014 at the Headquarters of the General Secretariat of ALADI in Montevideo, Uruguay.
