Regional Workshop on Metrology and Technology Challenges of Climate Science and Renewable Energy

The event will take place the 6th General Assembly of the Interamerican Metrology System, 2013, at the Marriott hotel in Bogota, Colombia.

Participating Countries: Member countries of the Inter-American Metrology System (SIM)

Objective: To contribute to the advancement of renewable energy technologies and low carbon economic growth in the context of the Energy and Climate Partnership of the Americas, and to the reduction of region’s potential contribution to climate change, while promoting its overall economic development. The program focuses on identifying the measurement challenges associate with climate science and renewable energy (RECS) and developing measurement capabilities to address those challenges. and 7th of November, during the framework of the
