Good policy and regulation practices enable the deployment of renewable energy and other appropriate technologies, thus reducing generation costs and enhancing overall system reliability and resilience. Regulations can incentivize technically appropriate flexible generation and stipulate fair compensations for developers; there isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution available. ​
