[Contest] Renovable de Corazón
Eligibility: The contest is open to people over 18. The winner chosen will be at the discretion of Green Power Conferences (the organizers of the Mexican International Renewable Energy Congress)
Contest Period: Submissions will be accepted continuously until April 26, 2013 at 5:00 PM (EST).
Task: Participants to answer the following questions: What is the current impact of wind and solar developments in Latin America? What can our politicians and business leaders do to best encourage renewable energy development in the Latin American region? Each note will have 450 to 600 words.
To participate: Write the note in Spanish or English and send in word format to info@latinoamericarenovable.com
When sending the note do not forget to provide your full name, affiliation, country and age.
Qualified answers will be published in the website of Latinoamérica Renovable (www.latinoamericarenovable.com). Limit one (1) answer per person.
Winner Selection: Notes that qualify will be assessed by Latinoamérica Renovable takes into account: i) The number and quality of comments received on the website of Latinoamérica Renovable ii) The number of Facebook “Likes” on the website of Latinoamérica Renovable iii) Outstanding quality of the answer.
Prize: One winner will be selected who will receive a Networking pass (with a value of $2,199 USD) to attend the conference 2nd annual Mexican International Renewable Energy Congress (MIREC) which will be held from 29 to 30 of May 2013 at the Camino Real Polanco, Mexico City, Mexico. MIREC is co-located with Solar Power Mexico 2013 and Wind Power Mexico 2013 and the winner will be able to access both:
The award is the conference delegate place and will not be effective in the event that the winner cannot attend the conference.
Prize Restrictions: We will verify the age of the winner. The winner will be responsible for having valid travel documents (i.e. passport, visa, etc.) as needed. The winner is also responsible for other travel expenses, including but not limited to: air ticket, ground transportation, accommodation, and meals.
Note requirements: The note must be original work of the entrant (i.e. should not have copyrighted content) and should not have been published previously. Latinoamérica Renovable reserves the right of final decision in selecting notes to be published.
Commercial use of notes: Latinoamérica Renovable reserves the right to publish, use, edit and/or modify the contents of the notes regardless if the contestant wins or not.
