Closing Ceremony of the Closed-Loop Cycle Production in the Americas Program

The General Secretariat of the Organization of American States, through its Department of Sustainable Development to host a Closing Ceremony of the projects under the Closed Loop Cycle Production in the Americas Program. This event will take place on Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 09:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., in the Padilha Vidal room located in General Secretariat Building of the OAS.

This public event will present the results of the projects of the program carried out in Colombia ‘National Strategy towards a Circular Economy’, Panama ‘Development of Panama Green Label’, and Trinidad and Tobago ‘Sustainable alternative packaging to replace Styrofoam’. The meeting will aslo serve as an opportunity to facilitate a dialogue to identify the opportunities for the promotion of Circular Economy in Latin America and Caribbean countries.
