November 7, 2012: Field to trip Yalbac Ranch

Venue: Yalbac Ranch and outside

Dress: Casual, prepared for light hiking and with sunblock, bug spray, and water

8:15 Depart from Embassy enroute to Yalbac Office at Iguana Creek

9:00 Depart from Yalbac Office on Ranch Tour.

The trip is organized and hosted by The Forestland Group.

Several stops are expected in the forest to cover topics such as:

a) General management overview (inventory, planning, government regulations/policies)

b) fire management

c) active harvesting (will be weather dependent)

d) FSC certification and/or forest carbon projects.
