DESCRIPTION:Session 2:\n\nStrong interconnection capacities allow the best exploitation of renewables plants thanks to the possibility to export excess generation and the potential of mutual support between countries. In addition to the infrastructure required for physical interconnection, successful integration of energy markets requires regulatory coordination or harmonization between participating countries.
